Play as Lee Everett, a convicted criminal, who has been given a second chance at life in a world devastated by the undead. With corpses returning to life and survivors stopping at nothing to maintain their own safety, protecting an orphaned girl named Clementine may offer him redemption in a world gone to hell.

Experience events, meet people and visit locations that foreshadow the story of Deputy Sheriff Rick Grimes. A tailored game experience – actions, choices and decisions you make will affect how your story plays out across the entire series.
Based on Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic book series.

It's been almost 12 years since I received a copy for Christmas for my xbox360, and it was just as an astounding experience this time around as it was the first time I played. I picked up the definitive edition a couple years ago for my ps4 and finally decided to tackle all the seasons. But the first season holds a special place in my heart. I have distinct memories of playing in the living room with my family watching, and upon reaching my decision between Clementine having to decide between sparing Lee or sparing herself from having to kill someone she loves, just sitting there with them in disbelief. Even now on my second playthrough, I can't help but choose the first option; to me, there is no other choice because of how deeply affected I was by the characters.

The Walking Dead was an incredible story-driven game. I'm currently a third of the way into the final season, but the first is the best; it has a certain uniqueness and sublimeness that I personally think just can't be recreated in later seasons.
