Starring the world’s most iconic Super Hero, Spider-Man features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game. From traversing with parkour and utilizing the environment, to new combat and blockbuster set pieces, it’s Spider-Man unlike any you’ve played before.

I love games that can take you weeks to complete outside the main story line. I collect those trophies like a greedy little goblin. I've fully completed both the Spiderman and Miles Morales games, but I'm currently working my way through the Spiderman dlc after having set it aside years ago.

Once I was comfortable with the swinging and various combinations of crawling, web zipping, and jumping, the open world in these games were amazing. I constantly found myself swinging around going, "Oh, I went there!" or "Omg, I always got coffee after classes in that building!". And while it's not a 1:1 recreation of the city, it managed to recreate the city's feel with a touch of magneticism from the comics.

The Miles game was clearly a nice improvement in terms of graphics and smoother motions, but the basics of the open world, combat, and gagdet inventories that I loved in the first game faithfully remained. Suits, gadgets, and powers from both games were great, and I still feel I haven't fully enjoyed every suit and power/gadget combinations. I might have to replay them once I'm done with the dlc.
